Do not use HippoAPI for unlawful harm, exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, credible threats, malware distribution, credential theft, fraud, deceptive impersonation, or attempts to bypass provider safety controls.

Do not probe, disrupt, overload, scrape restricted areas, resell unauthorized account access, or interfere with other users, infrastructure, billing, security, or rate limits.

High-impact uses

Do not rely on model output as the sole basis for decisions that determine legal rights, medical treatment, credit, employment, housing, education, or access to essential services without qualified human review and appropriate safeguards.

You are responsible for evaluating output, obtaining rights and consent, providing notices, and applying the laws and professional standards relevant to your use case.

Enforcement and reporting

HippoAPI may investigate, rate limit, suspend, or terminate activity that creates material risk or violates this policy. Urgent abuse reports can be sent to [email protected] with evidence that does not expose unrelated personal data.
