Essential storage

HippoAPI uses cookies or equivalent browser storage where needed to maintain sign-in, protect sessions, remember security state, and provide requested account functions.

The interface may also store language, theme, layout, and cached public configuration preferences on the device so the site remains consistent between visits.

Measurement and third parties

Analytics is used only when configured by the service operator. Payment checkout, security services, or external documentation may set their own storage when you choose to use them.

Browser controls can clear or block storage, but disabling essential storage may prevent sign-in or other account features from working.
