Information we process

HippoAPI may process account identifiers, contact details, authentication and security events, wallet and order records, support correspondence, and technical usage records needed to provide and protect the service.

API requests and responses may pass through HippoAPI and the selected model provider to complete a request. Data handling can vary by model and provider; do not submit data you are not authorized to process.

Why information is used

Information is used to provide accounts and API access, calculate and record usage, process cryptocurrency payments, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, communicate service changes, and comply with applicable obligations.

HippoAPI does not sell personal information. Service providers may process limited information where needed for hosting, security, model inference, communication, or payment completion.

Retention, choices, and contact

Records are retained for operational, security, billing, dispute, and legal needs, then deleted or de-identified when no longer required. Retention can differ by record type.

To request access, correction, or deletion where applicable, email [email protected]. Some financial, security, and audit records may need to be retained after account closure.
